At their E3 press conference Microsoft showed off some of the first in-game footage from Forza Horizon 2. This is the sequel to 2012’s Forza Horizon, and is the first time the Horizon series will be on Xbox One. The in-game world is said to be three times larger than the original title, and events can take place during day or night. A dynamic weather system will also be introduced, which has never been in a Forza title before. There are plenty of other new features included in the Xbox One game, which launches on September 30th. A version of Forza Horizon 2 will be out for Xbox 360, but development is being handled by Sumo Digital rather than Playground Games. The 360 version will use the graphics engine from the original Horizon as a base. Note that the trailer below is based entirely off the Xbox One version, so I’m not sure how things will compare for those who only own a 360.
