Remember Castle of Illusion, the Genesis/Megadrive platformer that came out in 1990?  There had been hints and suggestions of a remake over the past week or so and today Sega confirmed the news.  Sega Australia is developing the title, which has been completely rebuilt from the ground up.  You can see a teaser trailer as well as screenshots below, followed by the full press release.  The game will release this summer for Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network, and PC via Steam (though the announcement only mentions Windows).  No word yet if Wii U will get the game as well.
