In addition to showing off Armored Warfare, is showing off new footage from Skyforge at E3. The game is an upcoming MMO developed by Allods Team (Allods Online) with additional support from Obsidian. Players start off as immortals and try and gain followers to ascend and become gods. Skyforge is currently in alpha but playable demos are on-hand at E3 so it looks to be coming along. A specific release date for a beta has yet to be announced. The E3 video focuses on the Ascension Atlas, which is the progression system that lets players customize their skills, talents and spells. I really like the streamlined look the team is going for and the video also shows off some very fluid combat and pretty graphics. It takes something special for an MMO to grab my attention and so far Skyforge has me interested, so I’ll be providing more news as it becomes available.

At the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles this week, the, Allods Team and Obsidian Entertainment today revealed brand new assets for the upcoming sci-fi MMORPG Skyforge.

This week, players will get a glimpse of Skyforge’s unique Ascension Atlas, the Sunken Temple location and three new character classes: the weapons-centric Gunner, the ruthless Beserker and the merciful Lightbinder. The Ascension Atlas is a unique system that lets players customize their character in billions of ways with adapted skills, talents and spells. This interface displays all the directions in which players can develop their characters.

In Skyforge, players develop from immortals, to mighty champions, to powerful gods gaining and developing their mortal followers and powers along the way. Empowered by the faith and skill of their followers, gods battle invading armies in intense, merciless combat to protect their home world. Skyforge features unique action combat and a massive variety of classes and character customization options as players grow from immortal to invincible gods.
