Little Orbit has announced that Young Justice: Legacy is out now on 360, PS3, PC, and 3DS. The game is based on the DC Comics Young Justice character and the associated television series. The PS3, 360, and PC versions retail for $39.99 while the 3DS version retails for $29.99. I haven’t seen any reviews pop up about the game and the trailer looks a bit hard to judge, but if I have a chance to play the title for myself I’ll update with impressions.

November 19, 2013 – Santa Ana, CA – Little Orbit, a worldwide game publisher, along with distribution partner Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL) announced today that it has officially launched Young Justice: Legacy, the video game, licensed by Warner Bros. The game is rated T for Teen by the ESRB and retails for $39.99 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Steam (PC), and is rated E10 and retails for $29.99 on the Nintendo 3DS.

Young Justice: Legacy gamers can look forward to an original storyline set inside the rich universe of the fan favorite television series, Young Justice. Written in collaboration with series producers, Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti, Young Justice: Legacy is packed with fan favorite playable characters, cameo appearances by popular Justice League heroes and villains and online multiplayer and local multiplayer modes!

“With a large playable cast of familiar heroes, Little Orbit’s core mission to create a unique experience that fits seamlessly into the Young Justice world while evoking the series’ witty humor and iconic art has been a phenomenal success, ” said Matt Scott, CEO of Little Orbit. “We’re excited to provide fans a new way to interact with these popular DC Comics characters through a new, youthful perspective.”

In Young Justice, teenage heroes Nightwing, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis are tasked by the Justice League to act as their covert operations team. Armed with superior skills, weaponry and powers, the team must do battle against a wide array of villains from the DC Comics universe while trying to prove to themselves, and to their superhero mentors, that they too have what it takes to be a hero. Their journey is further complicated when they face the many unpredictable obstacles that arise in their path from inexperience and youth.
