A sleek fast ride, mines, mini guns, rockets, nitro, and the police with their helicopters, a game with huge potential to be fun ruined by one aspect, really really bad physics. The car might as well as be a helium filled balloon and you wouldn’t be able to feel the difference. The game is not extremely well refined. The boulders spawn out of no where. You can fall off some maps into infinity. There also isn’t a huge array of power ups and weapons. This game is a start of something potential, unfortunately it feels like it was never quite finished.

The graphics are only sub par, would have been acclaimed had it been released 6 or 7 years back. The car’s modeling offer very little detail, the reflections barely even noticed. The environment lacks even more detail, although some are well designed. Some of the jumps could be very satisfying if the physics wasn’t a stinking pile of cow dung. Overall, the texturing on the environment is can be summed up in one word, “meh.” The lighting in the game is also only just ok. The lights that come from the car just basically makes that one spot white. So you’re driving around with a huge white spot in front of the car, it’s a little distracting.

The soundtrack is perhaps one of the better aspects of this game. It’s not as bad as everything else. The music features the usual upbeat techno beats. There seems to be a variety, but I’m usually too busy screaming at the stupid car to land like it’s suppose to instead of listening to the soundtrack as I should be.

The game play is set up simple, be the first to the finish line however necessary. Of course, this means running into your opponent, dropping means, shooting them with a chain gun that is almost useless and of course, the rockets. Littered through out the level are power ups; health, weapons, nitro to help you get to the finish line first. The next level usually picks up right before the finish line. Rinse, and repeat and you’ve got the game in a nutshell. I would so enjoy this game if the physics wasn’t so terrible. Some levels have the police after you, most of the time they’re easily avoidable. The helicopter however does have a chain gun attached to it, and god help you if it decides to rain down a shower of hot hot lead.

There is a multiplayer feature. However I really don’t see anyone wanting to share the frustration with all their friends. There really isn’t much of a reason to play this game beyond what I have to. The fact that the cars nearly feel weightless makes the game damn near impossible to play. Or, if you’ve got absolutely nothing better to do you can play it and watch the car float and fly and do everything helium balloons can in real life. Go outside and play catch folks.
