New Zealand singer/songwriter Brooke Fraser will release her new album Brutal Romantic on November 18th via Vagrant. Fraser has released a video for the song “Psychosocial” and audio for “Kings and Queens” which can be streamed below. This is the first time I’ve come across her material but I’m enjoying it quite a bit so far, as she has an incredible voice that immediately draws you in. Brooke Fraser will be touring North America in support of the album throughout January and February of next year.

(October 2, 2014)- New Zealand native Brooke Fraser’s fourth album, Brutal Romantic, is set to be released November 18 via Vagrant Records. Produced by David Kosten (Bat For Lashes, Everything Everything), Brutal Romantic saw Fraser take a nomadic journey to record in London via songwriting sojourns in Stockholm, Los Angeles, New York and on the Island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea.

Fraser has been releasing music for the past decade, and her most recent album, Flags featured her world-wide hit, Something In The Water. However, Brutal Romantic showcases Brooke venturing to new musical territory with electronic flavored, sonically daring tracks wrapped around her trademark beautiful vocals and pop melodies. Today fans can preorder the album and get instant downloads of the tracks “Kings and Queens” and “Psychosocial.” Preorder here: http://smarturl.it/BFBrutalRomantic and check out links below to stream “Kings and Queens” and watch the video for “Psychosocial.”
