BATTLEAXE Release Video For New Album “Heavy Metal Sanctuary”

Battleaxe is one of the latest British heavy metal bands to have a reunion. The group originally existed from 1979-1987 and released two full lengths and a live album. They reunited in 2010, and will be releasing the album Heavy Metal Sanctuary in February which comes almost 30 years after their last full length. Check out the title track below!

Steamhammer/SPV will release the new BATTLEAXE album Heavy Metal Sanctuary in February 2014.

The new album Heavy Metal Sanctuary was recorded at Trinity Heights/Pillarbox/Sound Inc Studios in Newcastle upon Tyne England and was mixed and mastered by Fred Purser (ex-Tygers Of Pan Tang).

The current line-up consists of the original members Dave King (vocals) and Brian Smith (bass) as well as Mick Percy (guitar) and Paul AT Kinson (drums).
