CALL OF THE VOID recently announced a new LP for Relapse Records, and now the band has unveiled the new track, “R.I.S.” (see Metal Sucks debut).

Listen: “R.I.S.”

Denver-based metallic hardcore perpetrators CALL OF THE VOID unleash another ferocious blast of sonic destruction with their forthcoming effort Ageless. A pummeling fusion of crusty grind, sludgey hardcore and groove injected metal, Ageless was recorded and mixed by Andy Patterson (Subrosa, Eagle Twin, Gaza) and mastered by Brad Boatright (Tragedy, From Ashes Rise, Integrity). Having cut their teeth playing live over the past two years with Today is the Day, Eyehategod, Code Orange, Ringworm, Brutal Truth and many others, Ageless sees CALL OF THE VOID further sharpen their aggressively vitriolic sound into a fine-tuned display of hardcore savagery. Ageless will be out on February 10th, just as the band hits the road….

Praise for Call of the Void:
“crust punk, hardcore, and grind blended into cathartic, anthemic bursts.” – Pitchfork

“Following the paths that the early albums of Converge and Mastodon set before them, Call of the Void erupts in brutality with each track ” – Invisible Oranges

“With a raw, messy sound drenched in over-amped guitars and driven by pure bile, they channel grindcore and Iron Monkey-esque sludgy unpleasantness with each track” – Outburn
