Caspian will co-headline a tour with England’s 65daysofstatic this fall. The tour begins November 5th in Cambridge, MA and will run through November 26th. This is the first time 65daysofstatic has toured the U.S. since 2008. Check out the full list of dates and music from both bands below.

NEW YORK, NY – Beverly, MA’s Caspian and Sheffield, England’s 65daysofstatic are excited to announce that they’ll be joining forces this November for a nationwide co-headlining tour kicking off at Cambridge, MA’s Sinclair on November 5th. Support on the run will come from up-and-comers The World Is Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid to Die who recently released a new full length Whenever, If Ever on Topshelf Records. Both Caspian and 65daysofstatic will be touring in support of their latest releases.

65daysofstatic will be heading over from the UK to co-headline, marking their first shows in the US since a 2008 arena tour with The Cure. The band is gearing up for the release of their forthcoming full-length Wild Light, which will be released this September in the UK, followed by a US release on October 29th via a fresh deal with Superball Music. Wild Light is the follow up to 2011’s full-length studio album We Were Exploding Anyway which included single “Come to Me” that featured Robert Smith on vocals, a collaboration that resulted from the band’s time on the road with The Cure. Like Caspian, 65daysofstatic have made their name not only as masters of creating hard-hitting music largely sans vocals, but also as road warriors. In 2013 alone, they made debut appearances in Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China and this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Caspian released their third full-length record Waking Season via Triple Crown Records last September to critical acclaim, with Spin heralding it as “the best post-rock album of 2012” and Consequence of Sound calling the record “…more emotionally rewarding than any fist pump or axe-kick could ever be.” Waking Season also boasted the band’s highest charting to date, hitting #30 at Heatseekers and T10 at Alternative New Artist. Since the release of the record, Caspian have been busy with numerous nationwide and overseas tours and festivals including this spring’s inaugural Boston Calling and San Francisco’s Noise Pop. The band will be supporting HIM on a full European tour in October.

Keep an eye out for news on new music from both Caspian and 65daysofstatic soon. For now, you can check out the full list of confirmed US co-headlining dates below and for the most up to date information head to the bands’ respective websites, also below.
