Fink will release their new album Hard Believer on July 14th. The group will head out on a North American tour this fall in support of the new effort. This is the group’s first new studio album in three years, and

FINK is back with the band’s first studio album in 3 years, Hard Believer, and will begin their headline tour in the USA and Canada. The last time FINK (Fin Greenall, Tim Thornton, and Guy Whittaker) came out to tour North America was in 2012 – but as a 2-piece. “Tim and I ventured out there as an acoustic duo,” says Greenall. “Logistics simply didn’t allow us to bring the complete show.” “We’ve always wanted to give our US and Canadian fans the full live experience, and we’re happy to say we’re not cutting any corners this time round. In fact, we’re going to be touring there before the rest of the world, light show and all…” says drummer Thornton.

Between 2011 and 2012, FINK toured the UK and Europe extensively, hitting 23 countries, selling in excess of 45,000 tickets and playing to over 150,000 fans . They even found time to play a very special, sold-out concert with The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra – renowned as one of the world’s finest symphony orchestras – a show with became a stand-alone album as well as a groundbreaking concert app.

The North American Tour will see Greenall, Thornton, Whittaker, and guests resurrect the incredible light rig affectionately known as ‘Lamposaurus,’ designed by award-winning set designers 59 Productions (the same team who worked on the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony and the multi-award-winning stage show War Horse). The light show features a bank of individually-controlled anglepoise lamps which underpin the band’s ferociously emotional live show. “Lamposaurus is a beauty, and she gets photographed as much as we do. We’re elated that she’s going to join us as we cross the Atlantic,” says Greenall. The venues were hand-picked by the band, and take in such favourites as NYC’s Music Hall of Williamsburg, Montreal’s Café Campus, Toronto’s Mod Club, Chicago’s Lincoln Hall, SF’s The Independent, and LA’s El Rey Theatre.

Hard Believer is to be released via Greenall’s newly formed Ninja Tune imprint, R’COUP’D, on July 15th, 2014.
