Roadrunner Records group, The Devil Wears Prada have announced their headlining slot on the 2014 Sub City Take Action Tour. The trek, which will see the The Devil Wears Prada accompanied by The Ghost Inside, I Killed the Prom Queen and Dangerkids gets underway March 12th in Ventura, CA at the Ventura Theatre and continues through April 2nd, wrapping in Columbus, OH (see attached itinerary). Frontman Mike Hranica commented, “We’re very excited to continue touring 8:18 and to have the opportunity to play new songs, as well as getting the chance to play for a beneficial cause. We’ve always tried to make a point to play charitable shows and be a part in helping out; we’re all grateful to have that with the Take Action Tour.”

Now in its twelfth year, the tour will help benefit the Living The Dream Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides hope and inspiration to children and young adults afflicted with life threatening diseases. Their vision is to share a rich, rewarding, Living The Dream experience that they’ll never forget. The foundation will bring a different fan out to select tour dates where they will have their Dream Day with the band. The Devil Wears Prada will be participating in fulfilling Dream Days with fans throughout the duration of the entire tour and have already participated in one, which can be viewed below. What’s more, ten percent of the cost of each ticket sold is donated to Living The Dream and Sub City to help further this cause making each person attending an active participant in making the world a better place. These exciting new US tour dates celebrate the release of The Devil Wears Prada’s new record 8:18 which arrived everywhere to critical praise this past fall. On the stunning 8:18 – executive produced by Killswitch Engage’s Adam Dutkiewicz and produced by the band along with producer/engineer Matt Goldman (Underoath, The Chariot) – Revolver touted the collection exclaiming, “8:18 is definitely bleak, harrowing, and f*cking heavy,” while Rolling Stone praised the track ‘Martyrs’ as “an apocalyptic riff.” “The melodic metal riffs could please the ears of any heavy music fan,” applauded A.V. Club while Alternative Press lauded the albums vocals stating, “Mike Hranica’s voice is as gut-wrenchingly brutal as ever.”

The Devil Wears Prada is: Mike Hranica – vocals * Chris Rubey – lead guitar * Jeremy DePoyster – rhythm guitar, vocals * Andy Trick – bass * Daniel Williams – drums.
