B.O.R.: ‘Hero 6’ Tops ‘Interstellar’

Disney’s Big Hero 6 was able to finish number one at the weekend box office, finishing slightly ahead of the Christopher Nolan epic Interstellar.  Big Hero 6 finished the weekend with $56.2 million, while Interstellar finished with a slightly lower total with $52.1 million.  For Nolan, it’s less than his last non-Batman release Inception, which earned $62 million in its opening weekend.

Last week’s champ Nightcrawler slipped to number six, earning another $5.5 million, bringing its total to $19.7 million.
