Think Like A Man Too finished in the top spot this weekend earning an estimated $30 million. 2012’s Think Like a Man earned $96 million worldwide, with $91 million coming from North America alone. Kevin Hart has been attributed to the film’s success, and has been on a box office roll since the original came out two years ago.
Narrowly beaten out of the top spot, 22 Jump Street finished second with a close $29 million. The Jonah Hill/ Channing Tatum movie has crossed the $100 million mark, and earned $111.4 million so far. In third place this weekend was How to Train Your Dragon 2, bringing in $25.3 million ($95.1 million total).
Opening at 2,905 locations was Clint Eastwood’s Jersey Boys, which bombed, and brought in only $13.5 million. The popular Broadway play about the Four Seasons was expected to fair much better with audiences, but clearly, audiences weren’t interested in Eastwood’s latest directorial effort.
Rounding out the top-five was Maleficent, which earned $13 million, and brings its total to $185.9 million domestic, and may become Angelina Jolie’s most successful box office film to date.
