With three 80’s remakes opening this Presidents Day Weekend The Lego Movie was able to remain at the top, finishing number one with $48.8 million.  The Lego Movie only dropped 29% from its opening weekend, and has earned $129.1 million so far.  About Last Night, starring Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, and Regina Hall opened with $27 million, finishing in second.

Robocop opened with $21.5 million which was not a great sign for Sony, who also produced the 2012 Paul Verhoeven remake Total Recall, which debuted with $25.6 million.  This may not be a great sign for future installments, but it is entirely too early to tell.  The last remake opening this weekend was Endless Love, finishing fifth with $13.4 million.
