The Seth Rogan/Zac Efron comedy Neighbors opened number one with an estimated $51.1 million, bumping last weeks champ The Amazing Spider-Man 2 from the top spot.  This is an incredible feat for the Universal comedy, and marks the most financially successful weekend in live-action career of Seth Rogan (previous best opening was The Green Hornet earning $33.5 million).  For an R-rated comedy perspective, Neighbors finished behind the likes of Ted ($54.4 million) and Sex and the City ($57 million).  At the same time, finished ahead of bonafide hits 21 Jump Street, The Hangover, and most recently, The Heat.
