After blowing onto the metalcore scene a few years ago, Asking Alexandria has garnered a tremendous amount of buzz and fans in a very small amount of time. Now, they’re back with their second album, Reckless and Relentless.

Although there were a few member changes over the years, the core element has stayed intact and that has definitely been one of the reasons why Asking Alexandria has been able to garner the attention they have.

Despite the fact Asking Alexandria sounds like thousands of other bands within the genre, there’s something special about them. Reckless and Relentless managed to keep my interest for the entire record, something that rarely happens for bands in this genre.

I’d give Reckless and Relentless a 9.5/10. Check out the following: “Closure”, “Someone, Somewhere”, “Morte et Dabo” and “Reckless and Relentless”.

Asking Alexandria will be appearing at this year’s installment of the Rock on the Range festival as well as a main stage spot on this summer’s Vans Warped Tour.
