D-beat/hardcore band Iron Hand will release their first 12″ Injected Fear in mid February. The group has exactly the type of sound I love from this genre, which is the perfect balance of catchy riffs and abrasive vocals. This 12″ will be limited to 300 copies, so you may want to preorder this one if it’s something that seems appealing.

Injected Fear is the first 12″ from long-running d-beat/hardcore outfit Iron Hand. Continuing on the path set forth by their earlier EP releases, Injected Fear contains seven crushing tracks of dystopian sonic abrasion. This 12″ carries influences in the vein of bands like State Of Fear, Wolfpack, and Giuda. To experience a taste of thine Iron Hand, the title track is available today from Lonesome Noise.

If you haven’t yet heard Iron Hand, you may be familiar with singer Brian F’s other band, Blessed State, who’ve been recently featured on Brooklyn Vegan. While the two acts have a divergent style (melodic punk vs d-beat) the unifying force is Brian’s roarsome vocal. Catch Iron Hand on tour in New England during the remainder of this shitty winter and be sure to grab a copy of Injected Fear from Safety Meeting Records in February.
